Meet the face behind the books

Born and raised in the vibrant tapestry of India, Sharmistha Chakraborty has always been captivated by the complexities of human relationships and the nuances of social structure. Drawing inspiration from her everyday experiences and the idiosyncrasies of Indian life, she crafts lighthearted romantic comedies.

 

 

Armed with a Master's degree in English Language and Literature, she embarked on a journey to explore the realms of storytelling. After completing her B.Ed for an assistant teacher's post, Sharmistha made the bold decision to leave her job and pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an author.

 

Driven by the desire to share the stories that simmer in her mind and the experiences she cannot easily express, Sharmistha finds solace and inspiration in the act of writing. Her narratives, while rooted in social realities, offer a refreshing escape, keeping the tone light-hearted to ensure an enjoyable reading experience for her audience.

 

Her debut novel, "Finding The Happener," marks the beginning of her literary journey, setting the stage for a delightful series titled "Serendipity," where serendipitous encounters and delightful discoveries await.
